Ball Control and Juggling Drills
Juggling builds touch, balance, and confidence with the ball. Start with the dominant foot, keeping the ball below knee height and using the laces for a clean bounce. Once comfortable, alternate feet and add the thighs and head. Aim for repetitions, not height - 20 controlled touches beat 3 wild ones. Beyond juggling, practise first touch with a wall: pass, receive, and redirect in one motion. Use the inside, sole, and chest to control differently. Train both feet equally; most players neglect the weak foot, and that ceiling limits their game. Five minutes a day compounds into noticeably better control within a month.
